I have four children. Each born healthy, able body and I thank God every day for them. Even during times of discord or when we are not seeing eye to eye, I am aware that many have other challenges. Some things we can’t do much about except pray and give comfort. This is different. The March of Dimes/March for Babies allows each of us to invest in the people who are actively working to improve the quality of life for mothers and infants. There are 380,000 babies born Pre-term and often those are Black and Brown babies. My nephew Josiah was one in 2003 and unfortunately he survived only thirty two days. I was his Godfather.
