Ulysses Griggs was not a member of Pasadena Alumni, although he lived in Altadena. Brother Griggs was a member of the Los Angeles Alumni and a supporter and friend of Pasadena. A dedicated and highly respected Kappa, his smile, firm grip and encouraging pats on the back stays with me to this day. Brother Griggs was also a dedicated donor at American Red Cross for over fifty one years and at last count had given over thirty seven gallons of life saving blood...a pint at a time.
The African American Firefighter Museum is hosting a blood drive and honor and memory of this great Kappa man I have signed up to give, please join me on April 28, 2021. Sign ups are easy.
